Compatibility

The FlamAid Companion app can be installed on iOS devices to use with the grenade and on Android devices to receive emergency alerts. Devices must meet the following minimum compatibility requirements.

Apple iOS:

iOS 18 or later

Compatible with iPhone and iPad

Android:

Compatible with Andorid

Note

If the FlamAid Companion app is installed on a device running an unsupported operating system version, this may result in a loss of functionality. If you uninstall the app while using an unsupported operating system version, you may not be able to locate and reinstall it from your app store.

Automatic alert with FlamAid grenade

The simplest way to call for help in a dangerous situation!
Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled.

Pull the ring on your FlamAid grenade. The sound alarm will activate, and the emergency screen will appear in your FlamAid Companion app.

After 60 seconds, your alert notification will be automatically sent to "Your Emergency Contacts." The message "Emergency Contacts Notified" will appear on your emergency screen.

Keep in mind that if location services are disabled, the emergency alert will be sent without your location.

Manual Alert via the FlamAid Companion App

You can send an alert by pressing the red "Emergency" button if you don't have your grenade on hand or prefer to alert more discreetly.

Your emergency will remain active for 4 hours.
